Dr. JP Psychiatry and Obesity Medicine is a self-pay practice that prioritizes removing third party involvement such as insurance companies from dictating your care. Your care is personalized to your needs with an emphasis on patient-physician relationship. We do not double book appointment times. Our focus is on delivering quality care instead of overbooking our appointment time slots. We cater your treatment plan according to your true diagnosis. We are not concerned on billing insurance for billable vs non-billable diagnosis or increasing complexity by adding diagnosis for reimbursements. Instead of having billing conflicts with insurance, we focus on providing you with individualized diagnosis and treatment plan that cater to your mental and physical health. We do not believe in over-medicating and that is best achieved when appointments are not rushed, which minimizes patient-physician interactions. We have an holistic approach to your care where we include therapy, coaching, and lifestyle recommendations in every session.

Dr. JP requires that you must have an established PCP for coordination of care, as this will be necessary to craft best suited treatment plans for your health. All appointments must be made through the website as the practice does not take walk-in appointments. Extended weekday and weekend hours available. The practice is open 8am to 9pm daily with a 48 hour call back policy.
